How can I find my foundation shade online?

If you’re trying to find your perfect shade in foundation, there are lots of online tools that will make this as easy as possible. Here are a few resources that I find especially helpful. Please note that some of the links featured below are affiliate links.

Finding your shade in an IT Cosmetics foundation

Book a 1-2-1 consultation with a team member that takes place in your Instagram private messages. This is completely free and enables you to tell your advisor a bit about yourself, your skin and what you want from your foundation so they can find the perfect match for you. Click here to book this service.

Visit the itcosmetics.co.uk website and use the live chat function for a consultation like this. Click here to go to the website.

Visit the itcosmetics.co.uk website and use the virtual try-on tools. You simply upload a photo of yourself to the website, and they will advise on your closest foundation match. Click here to go to the Your Skin But Better foundation page. Click here to go to the CC Cream page.

Send a private message to @ITCOSMETICSUKI on Instagram where an advisor can help you. Click here to visit their Instagram page.

Visit the Ulta website to see each CC Cream on real skin. Click here to see the shade chart.

Finding your shade in any brand of foundation

Visit your nearest counter and ask them to match your shade. This is the most effective method and lots of brands will also give you a sample of foundation to take away so you can try it before you commit to buying.

Visit findation.com. This is a website that tells you which shade you are likely to be in other brands of foundation based on what you currently wear. For example, if you tell them you wear IT Cosmetics CC Cream in Medium, they’ll give you your equivalent shade in a number of other brands. Click here to go to findation.com.

Following these steps enables you to choose a shade that best matches your needs. I hope you find this helpful and please feel free to let me know on Instagram @RoseGallagher if you find any other helpful resources.
